BFIT, established in 2002, is a private college located in Dehradun. It was founded under the Kartar Educational and Cultural Society's jurisdiction. Baba Farid Institute of Technology of Science and Research is accredited by UGC (University Grants Commission), AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), and NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The institute is ISO 9001-2000 certified and is one of the few self-funded institutions in Dehradun. The institute is affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University, HNB Garhwal Central University, and, Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University. BFIT Dehradun campus is located in Sudhowala, Uttarakhand in a lush green surrounding. Garhwal Central University.
