What's New at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences?As per the Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences admission notification 2023, second, third and fourth year candidates must pay the fees on or before July 23, 2023 without fine. Candidates can also pay the fees on or before July 31, 2023. However, they need to pay a fine as decided by the university. Candidates need to pay the fee online. The ERF portal is open and will remain open till July 23, 2023. Also, candidates must note that they can register for the courses only after paying the RUAS fees and can download the fee receipt from the portal itself. It brought together the M S Ramaiah College of Hotel Management (1993), M S Ramaiah College of Pharmacy (1992), M S Ramaiah Dental College (1991), the M S School of Advanced Studies (1999), and the M S Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre (2012). The director of this institute is Dr. M.R Jayarram, who has extensive teaching experience and sound industry experience. UGC (University Grant Commission) has recognised Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences and is a member of AIU RUAS has a big campus of 60 acres which consists of a playing ground, gymnasium, library, student and teacher parking, and many more. The institute has an excellent green cover, which very well maintains this. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences courses includes streams in Hospitality Management, Art and Design, Life and Allied Health Sciences, Management and Commerce, Engineering and Technology, Dental Sciences, Pharmacy, and Catering Technology, Mathematical & Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Law. Recently, RUAS has introduced four new programmes namely, M Sc Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics, B. Design (Interaction Design), B.B.A(Hons.)- LLB, B.Com(Hons.)-LLB, and B.A.(Hons)-LLB. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences offers admissions to candidates based on their academic records, national level entrance tests, or University level entrance test, counselling, etc. MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences admissions are mainly based on entrance test scores. Students applying for the UG/ PG are required to appear for RUAS-AT.Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences has a training and placement cell that organises the placement process for students. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences placement cell also gives students training programmes on personality development and communication skills to assist them prepare for the recruitment process. Post Graduate Diploma in Facility Management

The Post Graduate Diploma in Facility Management course duration is of 11 months. RUAS is offering the programmes in association with its industry partner, Schevaran Cleanfix Academy (P) LTD. The course will be offered to the students on a semester basis divided into three semesters. Anyone with a graduation degree from any UGC-approved university can take the Post Graduate Diploma in Facility Management course at RUAS. The Schevaran Cleanfix Foundation will select candidates with outstanding academic records and leadership potential for the scholarship. Schweizerischer Fachverband Betriebsunterhalt (SFB) is a Swiss professional association based in Zurich, Switzerland, that will offer a specially designed 3-week facility management course and a certificate from the Swiss government to selected students.
