Thiagarajar College Madurai was founded in 1949 with the intention of serving society by offering everyone access to high-quality higher education at an affordable price. It is a private, government-funded organisation affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University. The college has been given an "A" rating by NAAC. The curriculum of Thiagrajar College aims to combine information with skill in the teaching-learning process, which supports a culture of learning and innovation.
