Syamsundar College was founded on August 12, 1948, by Raibahadur Bisalaksha Bose. It is a government-sponsored college located in Syamsundar village of Burdwan district West Bengal. Syamsundar College is affiliated with the University of Burdwan. In the year 2016, Syamsundar College was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a B+ grade.Syamsundar College courses include six UG and one PG course in science, arts, and commerce.
