Puran Murti Campus is a deemed university that was established as a joint venture between the governments of Punjab and India. The Puran Murti Campus Sonepat, also known as Puran Murti Campus, is ranked 52 in the NIRF 2022 Engineering category. The institute provides over 50 courses across 12 academic departments. Puran Murti Campus is India's second institute with a Space Technology Incubation Centre (STIC). ISRO established the STIC to allow faculty and students at the institute to study and conduct research on ISRO-identified projects.
