Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a medical institute. It has been acknowledged as the centre of excellence for education and research. This institute offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. The college also provides training to UG and PG medical and nursing students.
The UG courses offered by AFMC are MBBS and B.Sc. Nursing. The PG courses include MD and MD/MS in various specialization, M.Sc. in Anatomy, and master's degree in Hospital Administration. The college also offers various PG Diploma courses and Super-specialty courses.
For UG courses, application procedure starts in April. For postgraduate and super speciality courses, application procedure starts in September and July respectively.

AFMC MBBS and B.Sc. Nursing Admission 2018:
MBBS is a five-year course and B.Sc. is a four-year course. Admission to the MBBS course is through NEET-UG. BSc eligible candidates need to sit for an entrance exam conducted by the institute. The candidates shortlisted will be called for Interview rounds.
B.Sc. Nursing selected candidates will be required to sign an agreement for five years of service in Military Nursing.

AFMC PG Admission 2018:
Admission to all the PG courses is on the basis of NEET-PG. For All India Quota candidates, 50% seats are reserved. Candidates with MBBS degree from Jammu & Kashmir and Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh are not eligible for this quota.

AFMC offers a PG Diploma course in 12 different specializations. The duration of this course is two years. Admission to this course is on the basis of NEET-PG.
