Grant Medical College (GMC) is a state government medical college, established in the year 1845 at Mumbai, Maharashtra. The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health and Sciences (MUHS). The institute is one of the oldest medical colleges in Asia teaching western medicines and has consistently ranked top among the premier medical colleges of India. The institute is clinically affiliated to Sir Jamsetjee Jeejebhoy Group of Hospitals and is also recognized by the Medical Council of Singapore (MCS).
Sir Jamsetjee Jeejebhoy Group of Hospitals is a conglomerate of four hospitals, namely:
The college provides Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses in the field of Medical Training and Health Care and comprises of five academic departments i.e. Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, Paramedical, Clinical and Allied Sciences. The yearly intakes in Under Graduate courses are 200 whereas, the same for Post Graduate courses are 100.

Admission under GMC Mumbai is based on NEET 2018, candidates need to visit Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra and register themselves for NEET 2018.

MBBS - Candidates with a score of at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together would be eligible for MBBS programme. Also, the candidate's age should be above 17yrs as on 31st December 2018
